Our colleague, Guillermo Carpintero from Universidad Carlos III (UC3M) gave a presentation at Microwave Photonics event organized by EPIC Photonics.
Guillermo presented the breakthrough concept for photonic-driven antenna arrays, the major contribution from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid as a consortium member in TERAWAY project.
Guillermo Carpintero is Professor, Department of Electronics Technology University Carlos III of Madrid. His research interests are focused on the design of photonic integrated circuits (Photonic Integrated Circuits) and their applications. His works have been published in refereed journals in the field of electronics and optoelectronics engineering, such as magazines and Optics Express Optics Letters of the Optical Society of America Journal of Quantum Electronics and Photonics Technology Letters or IEEE.
The Microwave Photonics event by EPIC Photonics is an online technology meeting that looks for the challenges the industry is facing and brings together the entire supply chain to address these challenges. Bringing together end-users with component suppliers and system integrators that will answer the EPIC question “What can you do for them and what can they do for you” creates the perfect foundation to establish new business relationships and find ways for new collaborations and partnerships.
